My travel timeshare with friend to Canyon Lakes.

I went to Canyon Lakes for the second time in March 09. The first trip was with use of Bonus Time and we had a lovely getaway in 08. However this trip was the first to Canyon Lakes in the purchased Lodge unit we'd acquired in 08. What a disappointment. The place was on an easy access level, we stayed a week and it was the most nerve wracking week of our life for vacation. The room was not fine touched as in the previous unit had been there was broken mini blinds, light bulbs out, no placemats or flowers on the dining table. Well those were minor cosmetic issues but what really was alarming was the room where I was to sleep had two water pump or something directly behind the bedroom wall that were either in need of repair or were broken because the humming noise coming from behind the wall was so loud you couldn't sleep in the bedroom. There was also a problem with the hot water as it never stayed on for more than 2 or 3 minutes. Which made it impossible to take a shower or wash dishes. To add injury to insult we had to call maintanence twice to get them to DO SOMETHING Sunday and Monday the first guy said he'd turn it off to cut out the noise but he never did. By Wednesday, we had to go to the front desk and talk to the manager to get some assistance. The Supervisor came out personally and assumebly all was well the water worked hot and cold for about a day then went back to no hot water again. Our numerous neighbors checking in and out, above us were inconsiderately noisy we had a set of three tenants throughout the week with each having many children. We had to call security three times for the running, jumping and partying that went on till 3 a.m. each night. This was the worst stay I'd had with Silver Leaf and for them to sell someone a unit that was having this many problems is alarming to say the least. We've changed properties since then to another unit but what about the next tenant??
